During the regatta, it is critical to cross the border first in order to make the most of the downwind conditions and control the race before your competitors. To assist the sailors, Richard Mille learned the expertise he acquired on land by developing the RM 60-01 Regatta flyback chronograph. With its flyback function and self-winding movement, it not only has the ability to easily measure short jet lag, but watchmakers know how to meet the needs of sports enthusiasts, no matter where they are on the planet.
A rotating bezel placed on a 50mm titanium case provides a variety of indications, including four points for the wind direction compass. Initially, yellow and green colored rulers provided important information. One shows up to 360 degrees and the other shows 24 hours. To use this feature, you need to know the local time and the position of the sun. To calculate your position, you must then use the pusher at 9 o'clock to move the UTC indicator towards the sun.
